Description:This outside field position will cover multiple states including eastern Montana, western North Dakota and northwestern portions of South Dakota. Additionally, this position may travel into the Saskatchewan Canada to assist the Industrial Canadian Team. Professionally directs key account sales strategies within specific key accounts promoting and selling Snap-on branded and non-branded product. Provides superior customer service, solutioneering and support to key positions. Develops and maintains high-level contacts and professional relationships within assigned accounts to leverageSnap-on's position and capitalize on current and emerging customer needs. This position may lead small groups of assigned traditional or segmented sales representatives and/or may develop and lead large projects in critical industries.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum of 5
years outside sales and successfully managing large &/or key accounts; assigned critical industries or business segments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5
years of experience working in the oil and gas industry in sales or other related industry positions. Strong leadership skills required with previous supervisory experience in leading outside sales reps. Must have strong understanding of sales strategy and the ability to implement territory management. A proven track record of driving year over year sales increases and demonstrated success in managing increased responsibility and achieving required goals is required. Must have the ability to present effectively and appropriately internally and externally to all levels in an organization from shop floor to executive level. Experience in business development and /or selling in the railroad or power generation industry, a plus. Knowledge of industrial tool market and Critical Industries (including but not limited to oil/gas, power generation, railroad, aviation) is desired. Must have a valid driver's license with impeccable driving record. Ability to obtain adequate insurance coverage and reliable personal vehicle is required. Must be PC proficient, including use of Microsoft Office.
